Charles Bazier is the Superintendent of the Sunday School and a member of the Trustee Board at Bethel AME Church Monongahela, PA. He does whatever he can around the church to keep things going. Mr. Bazier is the church’s electrician and handyman, when called upon.
He served in the United States Navy and worked at J&L Steel on the South Side. He was an Apprentice Armature Winder. Upon leaving J&L Steel became employed by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 5 in Pittsburgh, PA and retired after 31 years of service as a journeyman inside wireman.
Charles has two children; Charles Bazier, Jr. Florida and Odessa Eileen Upchurch of El Paso, Texas. He has three grandchildren: Savanah (deceased), Julius and Treyvion and one great granddaughter, Keona, who is two years old.
Charles is an avid bowler with an average of 160. He enjoys traveling, going to the gym and takes part in many senior activities.
Mr. Bazier’s favorite Scripture is John 3:16 –”For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
